Visual Style Automation
This feature centralizes and automatically applies all prescribed aesthetic elements from a baseplate standard Visual Style Guide to the application. This cover:
- Logo Options: Primary logo, dark logo and favicon.
- Color Palettes: Primary, secondary, and accent hex codes.
- Typography Specifications: Defined font families and base sizing scales.
- Component Defaults: Standard border radius, shadow depth, and spacing units.
This automation guarantees instant, comprehensive visual compliance across your application, freeing development teams to focus purely on core business logic.
Mechanism and Integration
The baseplate "style-guide" feature allows for the creation of written and visual style guides for a customer in a quick and intuitive fashion. It starts by reviewing a given website and extracting the written and style information for the site. It then allows the user to edit that in a web based interface.
This feature simply takes that data and automatically creates a visual style package that can be applied to a given Baseplate app. This allows us to automatically "skin" the application with no manual effort. If the style guide is subsequently updated the updated look and feel standards can quickly be pushed into a related Baseplate application.
Roles and Access
This feature is only available to System Administrator and is manually deployed into the code base. No user interfaces are required for it.

Theme Configuration File (/config/theme.ts)
This file is the developer-facing single source of truth for all theming variables. It is the target for automated payload injection and provides the structural definition for the entire Baseplate theming system.
